WIDNES CORPORATION LEYLAND LION  LT7

No 39    ATD 683

New in December 1935 to Widnes Corporation No 39 remained in service until 1952.
The reason that this bus survived after it was withdrawn from service is that Widnes used it as a towing vehicle until 1963.
The bus is awaiting restoration at the North West Museum of Road Transport and is in very good condition considering its age.
If you are interested in this vehicle and think you can help in its restoration please contact me.
